Plants?

What are some cheap plants I can get that will work by being potted in something small for a barebottom tank? Besides moss balls, i'm gonna get some of those lol.

Elodea and hornwort do well in axolotl tanks, they don't need planting

Hornwort looks pretty good, might get some of that

Cool mostly my concern is I'll see something I think is neat and get it only to find out it's not safe for axies lol

Any live aquatic plants that you see for sale are safe for amphibians, including axolotls. The real problem comes with finding plants that can withstand the colder temperature and/or low light levels.
