Hi, i recently inherited a pair of adult tigers (wild caught in Michigan as they were found in a bus garage for a school about 2 years ago, so they have been in captivity for a nice amount of time) from a customer at the pet store I work at, since she was moving and could not take them along. A co-worker of mine had wanted some species of salamander/newt for a while, but I hadn't been able to order any in for him. So, I was planning on giving him the pair, but I really like them, so I am thinking I might keep one and give the other to him, since I now have an extra 35 gallon aquarium sitting next to me =D. Here's my question, after a long-winded introduction...what are some good live plants that I can put into the tank? I am looking on Josh's Frogs and have found a few cool ones, particularly Peacock Spikemoss...Any ideas? Thanks! Kyle...

P.S. I am fairly new to keeping sallies. I grew up finding them, but I was always a "catch and release kinda kid." However, I have about 8 years of experience in reptiles, and some experience with other amphibians...That's 8 out of my 18 years hahaha

Tigers will trample most plants so you'll need one that is sturdy. Broad-leaved pothos are a good match. Any kind of moss should be ok as long as it isn't the long, stringy type. Your biggest challenge with moss though is just getting it to grow.

I'm about to try Irish Moss in my A. Gracile tank, if you'd like I'll let you know how it goes!
