Plants and snail's

Hi,
I'll be setting up my tank in the next week for the babies I'll be getting in about 3 weeks, now i'd like live plant's in it but i know snail's can be a issue, how can i kill any snail's without destroying the plant's?

If the snails are small, I personally would leave them in the tank for your axolotl to eat
