any ideas about painting the plumbing inside aquarium for the water flow. pipe is white and want to piant it black so it doesnt stick out. aquarium has a black backing from company.

There is a black aquarium silicon/e you can get which you could use to cover it; over here its pretty expensive for a small tube but can't remember the brand name.

Or ask at your local windowmaker/glass merchants.
I bought some nice black silicone, ideal for aquatic work from them for very cheap.

If you are purchasing silicone window sealers you need to make sure that they do not contain mildicides.

not taking a chance of making my axies sick going to look for thin black plastic tubing to slip over pvc pipe for the water flow and piping to and from the water cooler unit. tried home made 1 but too much work and really didnt work. cooler cost $400 but well worth it

But yes, low modulus, neutral. Very nice stuff.
I just repaired my paludaria with some.

you could use self amalgamating tape to cover the pipes.
