Hi all,
Well after hearing calls for about the last couple months my Pipa parva finally bred today. It doesn't look like all of the eggs have adhered to the females back too well, but enough that I'm hopeful that a few tadpoles will hatch out. Can anyone tell me, are the eggs that didn't stick and are on plants etc. worth trying to rear in a separate contained or do they need to develop on the females back? Also, any suggestions for a first food for the tadpoles?
Any anecdotes/suggestions about rearing the tads would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Duncan
