Here is a link to the exhibit contractor who did our life-support systems. He had a professional photographer come through and take some pictures for his web site.

I also have some pictures of the herp specific exhibits, but don't know when I will get time to place them on the Web. These will include pictures of our hellbenders, cave salamanders (sorry Mike G.!), mud puppies, and greater siren.

Note: The photographer went a little crazy and superimposed a picture of our loggerhead sea turtle inside of the coral tank! He also added a second sea turtle to the Chesapeake Bay aquarium.

Awesome (but not as much fun as the real thing)! I'm looking forward to your herp photos, Kory. You could certainly post the caudate-related ones right here! (You can upload to this forum directly from your computer.)

Hey, if you've got pictures of mudpuppies, I think there's like some sort of a law or county ordanance that requires you to post them. =)

Mike: we still have two large E. longicauda that willingly eat off of the tongs. We never did get any E. lucifuga, we just CALL it the cave salamander exhibit since it has more than one species (gasp!).

Jenni is right about the pictures, the photographer really didn't do a good job. He did take pictures of exhibits that are difficult to do because of the low lighting.}
