Hey everyone!! I have been gone a long time but all the while my axies have been growing. They were about 3.5-4 inches when I left, and now, 3 and a half months later they are topping out to about 8 inches! Here is a picture at 10 weeks

They are just massive and I'm so glad they have been thriving in my absence!

its so sad when your little kiddies grow up and become teenagers, ha ha, they are still so cute though

wow I have never seen baby ones before. I love that third picture. looks like a baby croc ! So cute.

i suppose I didn't make any attempt to show how big they are in relation to the other photos, but they are sure huge looking in the close-ups. I cleaned the enclosure compleatly yesterday and I noticed little "scales" here and there. This would be the first time I have seen somthing like that from a caudate. They also have grown some teeth too, that was a bit a supprise!

Jeff thats fantastic. They look great.
They've grown teeth? How so? Do u have any pics?
:D congrats on beautiful babies!

wow, haven't they grown. Their beautiful. You should be very proud.

they have grown so quick, I remember when you first posted the pics of when they were babies. Very cute

I am now in the process of trying to determine who is what gender. I was down in Seattle's Chinatown yesterday and while in Liem's Petshop I was asking about axies and I was told they now have to have a registration and such to sell them and now have become even more rare. Washington is adding to its list of laws that don't seem to make much sense.

Jeff, how great those spots are! Thanks for the age references, now I kinda know what to expect because of your pics - both these and all the ones from before.I love these dudes, well done!
