If its a girl I will change the name. For now he shall be called SIR AXOLOT.

He is a bit spoiled now (getting a bit + sized) because all my family keeps feeding him all the time. I keep an eye on the water parameters all the time so its ok I guess.

Otherwise he just rests in his home. Sometimes stays outside when he has poo-d in the home. lol.

No, the tanks not that big, He is only like 15cm nose to tail. Don't have a ruler next to me so can't say how big the tank is.

And also thats just a small sand grain near his nose. Thats the first time I put a bright light next to him so he got a bit scared and swam really fast.

Keep in mind he'll end up shy of a foot long - usually about 8 or 9 in.

Yes I will buy a bigger tank soon, Hopefully start of next year.

I also want to buy a another axolotl but I will wait until then.

Sir Axolot! Great name. I used to name things with "Sir" such as my newt, Sir Isaac Newtington the Patchysaurus Rex. Sometimes I just refer to him as patchysaurus rex or just Newtington.

Heck, even if its a girl, Sir Axolot is still a great name. Why change it?

I agree those gills are huge and very loopy, the person who made that post wanting to see pics of axies with gills like that would be very pleased. I also love the name how its like a knight name.
