One of my juveniles is not eating well...while the others are always fat, and they eat everyday without problems (they really are fat O_O), this other one only eats once every three days or so...it always looks slim and it is not fattening up like the others.
Today it took a piece of worm and then went for another...but before finishing the second meal it regurged both pieces.
sign of illness? just a bad eater??
I´m worried since vomiting must have been stressing for such a little and slim bugger.

A couple of mine had that problem but once they got settled in it stopped. I think it may be from stress or too large food. If this keeps up try bloodworms/blackworms in a shallow dish of water.

Ok...thank you Peter. I so hope it´s temporary and it starts eating well...
It´s my favourite one...the brightest one. Also the one with more green. It´s a complete beauty but smaller than the others and so slim...

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
