Picky eater tiger salamander

Hi! My tiger salamander has recently only been eating mealworms. I know that it is not healthy for that to be the only thing he eats but he has been very picky about food recently. He used to eat frozen shrimp and crickets but has been ignoring them recently. I tried nightcrawlers and he wouldn't eat them. I also tried tempting him with wax worms, and he ate one but after that he just spit them out. Do you have any ideas as to why he is doing this or any other foods that would be good for me to try? Do you think he could be sick or is he just a picky eater?

My axolotl was a picky eater when I first got her too. A little tough love might help. Don't feed him for a day or two and then try only night crawlers, hopefully he'll get hungry enough to accept the earthworms. That's what my baby did at least. Best of luck! Beautiful tiger by the way
