They all have really strong markings on their foreheads, don't they?

Yes, it will be interesting to see how the babies end up developing.

I am going to get a gold to cross with one of them to see if the marking will come through, imagine that: a gold axolotl with black face markings. I think that would be quite unique.

Nice pics, love the one 'riding' the bubble, most adorable

How many young ones are there?

Mum and Dad are gorgeous I have never seen any axies with such lovely markings.

i really love their face markings. the first one is a nice yellowish colour too. I cannot wait to see what the kids look like when they are juvies.

And are 'mum' and 'dad' their names as well as their position, or...

they are wonderful !!!and they look huge!
how big are they?
is the boyfriend a melanoide ??
i would love to get one but we only get white and wild coloured in denmark

They are about 45 cm (estimate) long, The female is slightly shorter as she has had an injury to her tail at some stage, and it is sort of crinkly.

What do you mean by melanoid?

I have noticed he has grey rings around his eyes, and his girlfriend has gold!!

All I need now is a gold pair...

Melanoids look nice with leutistics ^^

I have them in seperate tanks, one for the whites, and one for the blacks.

I tried to measure, I was way out, (never been good at maths lol) They are all around 25.5 (must have had too many vodkas that day lol)

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
