So we asking all participants of the WCR-project to verify the information about your tailed amphibians and in case of need to login anew.

Thanks, Christian (Netherlands) for the photos of Ambystoma mavortium et Pleurodeles waltl !

Hello Alexander , when I use the 'Identification of the registrated keeper' button and fill in my name and password it doesn't work, can you tell me why?

Hello Christian!
I have verified your name and password, WCR works.
Do you know that for the database "Christian" and "christian" are different strings?

By the way, Christian can you translate from English to Dutch 8 lines for our new project in WCR "Terrarium Classification of Tailed Amphibians". The English text is here: http://www.caudata.org/forum/messages/8/67353.html?1152103420

Dutch members of WCR are enough numerous so we have decided to include Dutch language in this new project.

Thank you
You are right, I have verified it now and it works.

I will try to translate the text for you, I will post the translated text in the same topic if it's ready.

Ester translated the text for you, check your link.

Christian

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
