For what kinds of things? There are specialist stores. Pets on Broadway is one, but their care of axolotls if absolutely awful. They got an order of babies in and managed to get them all fungus. At 2 inches they're popping them in salt baths every day. I've seen quite a few die/dead, and have made their manager change things a bit so they have less death... Not much less, though. But on the mammal side they're pretty good. Just don't trust them on reptiles, amphibians, or fish. One "experienced" worker told me that ADF drown each other and shouldn't be kept together. Pffft. They do however carry cheap feeders as well as frozen foods like bloodworms and daphnia. Don't buy animals from them, but supplies is fairly priced for the most part.
There is House of Reptiles in Tigard which may be helpful to you for herp keeping in general, though their workers aren't very pleasant, being very much "reptile men". They can be condescending and you'll have to prove yourself for them to treat you nicely, which I finally have. It only took keeping 80 herps to do so. Other than that, they're very knowledgeable if you can get around their prickly personalities.
Then there is Tropical Hut. I'll be working there in spring. I know the owner. They may not do everything according to what people say they should, but they do keep a wide variety of animals. They carry axolotls that don't look too bad after I told them some things to fix. The owners are very helpful and they carry fish, amphibians, reptiles, and feeder/pet rodents. This would be the best place on the list for anything axolotl. They sell earthworms, but so does any large Freddie's with a bait section. Not sure what you're looking for specifically, but this is the best place for it.
If you have any specifics that you need, you should tell me. I live in SW, and have been around to a bunch of places trying them out. These are the places to go if you have herps.
