That's a lot of cats! Have you ever experienced any cat vs. salamander problems? Hopefully all your sals are well secured. Justin was saying in another thread how his cat attacked his P.waltl. I have some horror stories from years ago when I used to keep both axolotls and ferrets

I'll spare you all the gory details though!

I keep a couple of dogs, and on at least 3 occasions they've actually HELPED my newts by alerting me to their presence (the newts having escaped their tanks) before the nets became desiccated

I'm not going to remove this "personal" thread this time, but I hope this is not the start of a trend. They do not fit the intended purpose of any public area of these forums at the current time.

a site which promotes animal care is threatened by removal and yet it took several (to say the least) angry people to finally remove a post about eating animals alive...interesting.

I enjoyed having Cloth point out her web site, which has a nice picture of her axie tank. Though there is a bit of chit chat, there's also some relevant discussion here about interaction between caudates and other pets.

Thanks Jennewt and Tim,
glad you liked my site.Tim I havent had any trouble at all with my cats and caudates, they generally just ignore the tanks.I do have screen lids on all my tanks though, but the general inactivity of caudates means my cats arent interested.Mind you the crickets are another matter!

Thanks for a relevant link to a cracking site Cloth.

P.S.
I don't understand people's priorities either :-(

Hang on... there's a fab axolotl section here - not just chat about cat-caudate relations.
How could this be anything other than welcome and relevant!!!
