Does anybody know of a place in the UK that sells pellets as good as the ones sold in the USA by the Indiana axolotl colony?
I just cannot find any to match up to them, They seem a perfect food for axolotls and any newts that will take pelleted foods, being soft, nutritious, sinking, and holding together in the water for at least 24hrs.
I am planning to send to the axolotl colony for some, but it seems a waste to send so far if something as good is available here.

Hi Morg,
I know how you feel I've been trying for nearly a year to find out as well! Rangen who make the axy pellets never reply to emails and I've yet to find a UK supplier.

I did once get a reply from Rangen and a price list of their pellets but the quantities they sell in are extremely large and they told me that they primarily sell to hatcheries and other end use customers. In short, there weren't really any distributors. You might try fish hatcheries. Best of luck.

Thanx Cloth and Sara
I have sent to the Indiana axolotl colony for some now, but will keep looking for a source in the UK.
The price of the pellets from the colony is fine, but when overseas postage is added, along with charges to send a foriegn currency cheque, they become quite expensive.
