Pellet food method

I've read contradictory things online about feeding baby axolotls. is the Pellet food method okay? basically crushing up the normal pellet food into a fine mush. Or do baby axolotls refuse to eat this?

Baby axolotls mostly rely on movement to recognize food. Aside from the fact that very few of the babies would eat the mush, it would wreak havoc on your water.
