Hi, even though i´ve never posted anything here, due to the pressuring from Rodrigo (Azhael), i´d like to share with you all a few pics of my laoensis acquired from Paul Bachhausen.

Greetings.

PD: yes, i know, the photos are poor quality.

It was about time you posted some photos!
As i´ve alredy told you these animals are absolutely brilliant, i hate you so much i can barely stand it...
I hope you can provide me with some offspring in the future :p

Photos are nice and newts too, laoensis are quite beautiful. How long they are and how big is tank that they are in?

Very nice animals. This is one of the few species that I would probably setup that "one more tank" for should they ever become available in the US.

Hi, they are aproximately 9-10cm long. Right now they are in a 100x30x40cm aquarium, but in a couple of months i hope to move them to a 150x40x50.

Very nice animals and a very nice set up, they look very healthy!
At what size did they first go aquatic? I have a group os juvs from Paul and cant wait to see them in the water.

Excellent postures in some of your pictures.

Thank you :)

They entered the water when they were around 10cm long.

If this year there isn´t a single fertile egg among the dozens they are laying i´m going to kill something....
This toying with our heads is absolutely intolerable...:p

You need to practice your angry fist shaking, by the way, i fear they are not sufficiently motivated.

PS: The spermatophore on the brow is priceless...This is how fashion trends start, Carlos.

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
