2 1/2 days with no power...my Mom lives around here too and she also had no power (though hers was restored a day earlier). Downed trees everywhere, much of the county was under a state of emergency. Some people at work were stuck there for 5 consecutive shifts. Not me, I had to worry about my mother, and called in.

I was so happy just to get heat when my power was restored yesterday...I was so tired of being COLD! (though I was at work when it happened).
I have stories to tell; I'm going to make a blog in a couple of days. I'm calling it "The White Katrina."
There was looting in Wappingers!

Glad you were fine Dawn... I know how is the sensation I am not making a blog but will open some albums here and in flickr with pictures I took when things were not fine here too... I would like to see how is the sight of being surrounded by 30cm of snow...if you have pics of it...
