Other tank inhabitants with T. Granulosa?

I was just curious what, if any other inhabitants to people keep with there T. Granulosa's?

My 3 are all wild caught here in Oregon, and I have 3 Pacific Tree frogs, small native fish similar to gambusia and some Amono shrimp. For plant life I have all native ferns and mosses, and some java moss that grows aquatic/semi-aquatic. Random earth worms and some native slugs roam freely until eaten

What does everyone else keep in with theres?

Most people tend not to mix species for various reasons. Take a look at this link, it showcases many of the reasons why species mixing is a bad idea- http://www.caudata.org/cc/articles/Mixing_disasters.shtml

T.granulosa is a moderately large and highly toxic species- I'm not so sure that mixing them with anything is a very good idea.

Since you are in Oregon, you aren't legally allowed to bring in any non-native herp species. So you are limited to what's local anyway. And that's probably safest, in terms of disease risk too.

I have 3 T. granulosa, and I don't keep anything with them.

Sorry I should have clarified my question, I was really more interested in other non salamander/newt species that people keep or have kept along side their T.grans.

Any other frogs, fish, plants, inverts, what ever else anyone has kept along side them.

I'm trying to keep the whole setup as native as possible, with the exception of the java moss and amano shrimp every other form of life in the enclosure is found within a mile of each other.

The main focus of the terrarium is showcase the native species found in Oregon, but everything below the T.Grans and Pacific treefrogs on the food chain is completely re-stockable. With that said, the loss of fish and inverts to predation of the amphibian occupants is completely acceptable to me

Has anyone ever kept any form of land dwelling snail along side their amphibians? I have read that the T.grans prey on them in the wild here, maybe a possible bonus food source? Or at least a little added calcium :lol:
