Hi, I know many people here keep other pets besides newts and salamanders, so I was wondering if anyone here knew of other good pet forums for furry or feathered friends? I'm looking for forums that have as good a reputation as this one, if possible.
I'm specifically interested in avian sites, but ones for fish, cats, or specific dog breeds would be good as well.

Thanks so much!

The only other forums I use of are for reptiles, but I do know of birdboard.com and parrotchatter.com/forum.php

My family used to breed cockatiels, finches, and parakeets plus owned some parrots, so that's the only reason I really knew about those.

There are tons of fish forums, namely fishforum.net and fishforum.com, so you might want to google forums for whatever type of fish you keep - saltwater or tropical.

I found caudata through google, so I think just doing a bit of searching - say "corgi pet forums" or "parrot forums" or "dove pet forums" will get you anywhere you need. There are so many sites out there that it'll really be up to you to look at them and decide if you find the forum to be useful.

I did try google, and I got a lot of results but it didn't tell me anything about the reputation of the forums, so I was hoping for some first hand experience from members here. Thanks for the suggestions!

my doggie has been known to post some of her adventures on the golden retriever forum - but I don't have anything to do with that...

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
