Orientalis' not eating

Help! I have two orientalis' who I've had for about a week and a half now that haven't eaten! We've tried frozen and live bloodworms, both of which they just walk away from. I've tried feeding them on land and in water, they seem to like the land more though they do go for a dip every so often (they like to hang out in some *moist* though not really wet areas). We have a few live plants in the tank which they love, and two african dwarf frogs who swim around all day and gobble the bloodworms--the newts (though I now hear that newt/frog mixing isn't too good?) get along fine with the frogs...just kind of step on them like they're not there. I've heard that newts can go a while without eating but it's beginning to worry me. I recently changed their water and cleaned all the gravel yet they still don't eat! The larger of our newts (when wet) looked like she had a white deposit on her head. (stress sore maybe??) In the past couple of days I haven't seen the white stuff though...so hopefully that's a good sign. Any advice..tips? Also...the smaller newt has two bumps just above where the tail connects to the body. They don't look scary or irregular...any thoughts? Thank you!
