I took about 20 pics of this little guy. He just stood there looking straight at the camera for about 10 mins - lol !

One of my white albino males will sit straight up on the tip of his tail for nearly an hour sometimes. They are fun.

ive been doing some thinking about axolotl "Posturing". I may be wrong but my early hypothesis for "tip toeing" would be discomfort / stress.
My reason for this is I have seen several severely ammonia burnt axolotls raised with their legs straight up on their toes almost while suffering in pain.
This is an early hypothesis mind you, and I will continue to research some more - but my early opinion is that the tip-toe posture isn't a good thing.
