Officer Puckles Has Returned!!!

Hey everyone! I am proud and incredibly excited to say that my axolotl, Officer Puckles, has been returned to me after almost a year of him being out of my life!!
Officer Puckles was a 'relationship axy' I got him with my ex boyfriend, and when we broke up he kept him. I was heartbroken and tried everything I could do to get him back, but alas he wouldn't give in.
Over christmas break in 2011, my ex posted on facebook that he was getting rid of Puckles, for free. I asked him if I could have him back, since it only seemed fair, his reply was I could have him... for 300$. (complete BS, pardon)
About a week ago I was at my brothers going away party, when his friend approached me and said.
"Hey, I have your axolotl"
I thought he just meant he was giving away an axolotl and he chose me to be the mama. But no, he meant he had MY axolotl!!!!
I went over and sure enough, there was my beautiful golden albino axolotl (who also was enhanced, or whatnot, to glow green under a blacklight. I forgot what the exact terminology is called, but he was see thru when he was a baby and is now more greeny-ish) (see picture)
Needless to say, I am stoked. What a random turn of events
So, I will be blogging again! And will put up pictures of his set-up and how much he has changed!!!!

Thank you everyone!!! We have recently purchased a 50 gallon (maybe even a 100 gallon, i can post a picture with a tape measure if anyone can help me figure it out) for only 30 dollars at the goodwill, AND NO LEAKS!
We will be working on transferring everything to his new tank, so he can be happy and finally out of the tiny 10 gallon.

And who knows, maybe we'll even buy him a friend

Yes, INCREDIBLY immature. I'm just glad I have a boyfriend now who loves Officer Puckles as much as I do and is stoked whenever he gets to feed him, and always wants to buy him new hideouts and plants and things.

also, here is the new tank that my boyfriend bought for him at the goodwill (he said that he was sad of seeing him bump into the tank and he needed more room, what a sweetie )

i'm not sure if its a 50 gall or a 100 gall.

wow! Im so glad you got him back! I can't even imagine how you would have felt while he was away. I can barely stand being hours away from mine!
