I had 2 of them like that. Bothed have morphed, and one still has the dots. Its funny, my morphs have a red band were the shoulder meets the body. Now I know who the father was. I have a newt named Gordan who has those bands. Its funny to see it in his offspring.
I had a bunch of newts like that... some even kept some speckles into morphhood. But now all of my morphs (16) are solid black. Like Joeri said, Enjoy while it lasts!
remeber this little guy? Well, he has grown up some and still shows some odd coloration.
Instead of the traditional jet black my other morphs have been, this guy is a rusty brown color with the white speckles still present on his body (though they are more cream colored now). he has a sibling who morphed about a week after he did and is the normal colors.
