i don't know which forum to put this so i'll put it here, will some notos and my two-lines live peacefully to gather?(my two-lines are almost completely terrestrial they'll only go in the water when i reveal them)

I think a noto would eat a two-lined and when I had two-lineds they fought over food and they may do the same when you feed your notos. I think mixing the two species would be a bad idea.

I agree with Cameron. Some of my bigger notos could easily eat a two-lined salamander if they really wanted to. Mixing species is usually just an overall bad idea. Also two-lined sals are stream-side salamanders and would probably only rarely encounter any N.Viridescens.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
