Noto spots losing color?

One of my notos is starting to lose the bright red color from its spots. What could be causing this? The newt seems fine, is not lethargic and eats plenty. I also don't think it's a deficiency because my other newt's spots are bright as ever and they get the same food(mostly frozen blood worms with crickets, night crawlers, and brine shrimp on occasion.

Just speculating, but usually red-orange coloration in newts is obtained directly from foods rich in carotenoids. Feeding more brine shrimp while still maintaining a healthy variety may help.
