Hey all :) Here's some background info: I had a leucistic axie called Kirby and there was a thread to him but he recently passed on Monday. That being said, I moved Glenn (Glenn is a female :p) into my 20gallon with Axel and left the 30gallon to my two albino's Kit and Kip. Now this morning when I went to check on the albinos, I noticed that they were kind of writhing against each other and shoving their.. back ends into each others faces. Kip was following Kit all over the tank like a lost little puppy  So I was just wondering if this is a type of courtship? I did notice small white things sticking up from the sand that weren't there last night but they seem tiny and there is only about 4 or 5 of them altogether. Are those spermaphores? Thanks for any information!! :D

So no eggs so far and haven't seen any more spermaphores in the tank after Friday night but I will keep you all posted :p
P.S, how will I know if Kip took any of the sperm into her? I am going to post a picture of her from earlier today. She is the one of the right

She will lay eggs. Period. Lmao. Unexpectedly.
My male layed sperm, and I got no eggs, two weeks later I woke up early in the morning and looked over at the tank and saw texas upside down on a plant and I was like here we go -.- lol I never saw sperm after that one time.

I have eggs laid over the weekend. I have seen no courtship, no spermatophores, no indication anything was happening. This has happend 3 times - just several hundred eggs with no forewarning.

The only indicator I have seen is my male sitting at the front of the tank. I'm almost tempted to say he looked pleased with himself, but I think axies always look like that...
