So aside from some Notos, I have an African Clawed Frog. I had some bullhead catfish fry in a tank that became the Noto's home, and by the time they were moved they were about 2+ inches. My frog wasn't that big so I thought they'd be ok....you know what came next.

So does the catfish is haft out of the frogs mouth. I have two options: 1) try to remove the catfish and hope I don't do much damage with the barbs, or 2) cut off the portion of the fish hanging out of his mouth and hope that the frog's digestive system breakdown the barbs like when minnows are consumed.

Does anyone know if option two is feasible?

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
