Just dealt with high ammonia and nitrite, got a good water test kit. We used ammo lock recently as referred by another axolotl owner, my question is, can you put to much? I know the prime is okay to ass some more. But we Har tp act fast they were starting to get red marks., please help.. asap

Ammo Lock (or Prime) is not a solution against ammonia because the ammonia is not destroyed but temporarily complexified.
On the short run, you can overcome ammonia or nitrite spikes with massive water change.
On the long run, try to find what caused these spikes : too much uneaten food, too many axolotls in a too small tank...?
If it's not already the case, add a lot of live aquatic plants (and a light of course) : they'll help you with ammonia.

if you have issues with either ammonia or nitrites then you need to assess whether the tank is cycled.
using chemicals and water changes are both short term solutions, it takes time for plants to get established and are brilliant for reducing/removing nitrogen compounds, especially nitrates.
ammo lock contains alphatic amine salts and sodium thiosulphate, the salts lock the ammonia but there is no information on which amine salt is used, sodium thiosulphate is used to remove chlorine and break down chloromine into ammonia, it is also used to treat some conditions, although sodium thiosulphate is the main chemical most products use to dechlorinate it does use the dissolved oxygen to do so and using too much can deplete the water and also depress the ph making it harmful (would need to be large overdose though).
