Newt temps.

What species are tolerant of higher temps. Basically things equal to what Taricha can tolerate.

Here's the information I gleaned on this forum a few months back:

Cynops ensaudica up to 80F/30C
Tylototrition verrucosus up to 30C
Pleurodeles waltl 75F
Cynops pyrrhogaster 75F
Ambystoma tigrinum at 24C/75F
Pachytriton labiatus 75F
Neurergus kaiseri 80F

WARNING! Some people will violently disagree with these figures, but this was the information posted here by experienced keepers of these species.

Just as a cautionary side note most of these temperatures that Alan posted are either close to the thermal maxima for some of the species and as such can still stress the amphibian significantly to cause/contribute to its death.
I would not recommend that most of these are the temps that the animals could be maintained in year round. The reason I say that is because the closer one gets to the upper limit tolerance of a species the more likely that something will happen to reach that maximum.
Deaths due to temperature related issues can either be quick or occur over a period of weeks to months post exposure due to the stress.
Some warning signs are uncoordinated movements, inability to right itself and in the end stages rigidity.

Yes, I certainly wouldn't recommend maintaining them at these temperatures permanantly. The discussion here was along the lines of "what are the maximum temperatures tolerated" e.g. during a heatwave. Those were the responses posted. Can't find the original thread in the forums now.

Yes, that's what I'm interested in. As a rule I don't keep a species that can't survive a one week heat wave or a power outage.

Unfortunately, houses here don't have basements and a lot don't have central air or anything. So while the house may be cooler then outside it's not that much cooler.
