Newt questions

I have two questions. First, are there any good pet stores for newts/salamanders in the portland oregon area. Second, I'm setting up a wabi kusa bowl. It is just under one gallon. Are there any newts that stay small enough to live in such a small area?

No newt should stay in a one gallon. Putting anything in a one gallon would be cruel, and most newts would climb out of a bowl. While you're at it, don't even put a fish in there.

The only thing you can really buy in Oregon is axolotls at two stores. Other salamanders are illegal. If you live in Vancouver I'm pretty sure there is a reptile store that carries fire belly newts, but I'd say if you get a few of those definitely go for a ten gallon. There are more things legal in Washington than Oregon, but you'd most likely have to go up to Tacoma to find a place that sells anything more than FBN.
