Newt for sale in Romania

Hi,
do you know if in Romania can sale european newt in the animal shop?if it is yes what species?


i ask to you that because the girlfriend of my brother is from romania and i will ask to her if she buy me some newts.

Enrico, from what I know, are two Romanian on this forum. One is Raptor and the other one is me, Tudor.
So, which one are you talking to?
If you ask me, the answer is NO. No pet shop has permit or other legal paper to allow them to sell newts from European species. Every European species ARE PROTECTED.
Still, there are captive strains kept for scientific purposes, but nobody will sell you such animals.
 
every newt or i can find some cynops pyrrogaster or paramesotriton....?
 
I have never found in the Romanian pet shops other newts except Cynops orientalis. And none was CB, but WC instead.
So, no chance to find pyrrhogaster or Paramesotriton

    Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
