Hi to everybody.
from this morning my lissotritons italicus has closed the eyes.how come?what can I do?I have now moved them in another aquarium had been starting for 3 months.I have recently put in the aquarium the green malachite for a presumed micosi (it was not a micosi but a molt) and of the co2 for the plants.what can he be?one of them don't have the closed eye but it have a whitish film that covers it.
thank you very much

Never, never use malachite green! It is highly toxic to amphibians. You need to treat the tank with several treatments of activated carbon (charcoal) and water changes to get rid of the malachite green.

Keep the newts in the other tank. Keep them cool and clean, and they may recover without any other help. There is not much else you can do.
