Question: Newt eat Guppy fry?

I was just wondering whether my Fire Bellied Newts would eat guppy fry?

They might, but it's not a natural food for them. It may be that the fry are too fast for your newt to catch, so I wouldn't rely on them as the only source of food.

they'll eat it, but as Kaysie said, you'll have to slow them down (like, kill them) so your newts can get them.

Nutritionally, there might be problems if you feed these too often, but as an occasional snack I'm sure it's ok. I used to have guppies for a while and I did feed some guppy babies to my firebellies.
