So this morning I saw my newt eft crawl out of his hide and literally raise up off his front legs and do an "Upward Facing Newt" pose! Then I realized that maybe he was performing the unken reflex, though I'd have no idea what startled him. I was only passing by the tank and happened to notice this.

Has anyone else seen their newt do this? Anyways, though I'd share since it looked so neat

I have seen one of my c orientals do this when feeding from tweezers. He was really excited for some blood worms that day

he must have thought you looked peckish

I agree with the others. Probably got excited for food once it noticed you!

So cool! I can finally understand why people are so crazy about yoga and what a huge difference it can make to both our physical and mental health. It’s amazing how something so simple can have such a profound effect. Plus, yoga is incredibly versatile, making it suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, even those dealing with health issues. I came across this wonderful routine – the 21-day chair yoga challenge https://betterme.world/articles/21-day-chair-yоga-challenge/ – which is especially great for elderly people or anyone with mobility challenges. Yoga really is for everyone, and I’m so glad I’ve started to explore it more
