Ok so i get that u separate them, keep and eye on them, make sure big ones arnt with small ones, putting them in small (tubberware) containers, buut my real question is while they r in those containers do they need an air stone or bubbler? Or some sort of filtration? If not how much of a water change and how often should i do it? Thanks for any help!

In housing like that, they do not need any filtration, aeration, etc. Just be sure to do 100% daily water changes, and every couple days wipe the slime off the inside of the containers when you do the water changes. Make sure that the plastic containers are food safe, because others are more likely to leach nasty chemicals. I prefer glass. Oh, and gently move the babies into another container while you are cleaning and changing the water.

Oh cool thanks that helps a lot! Should i pull water from the adult tank to do the changes? So itl have the same bacteria and no chlorine?

Just treat your water as usual and use that. There's hardly any bacteria in the water so there's no point using water from the adult tank. Plus it's already dirty.

The only thing that I would add to that, is to make sure that the fresh treated water is allowed to sit for a few hours before adding it to the containers. I've had better luck doing this. So each time you change the water, fill a few water jugs, treat as needed, and leave them nearby so they become the same temperature as the larvae's containers.

Ok great! Thanks for the help, how often do i feed them?

Your welcome :)
You can feed them once or twice a day, depending on preference. Their appetites are better if fed during daylight hours, since they feed by seeing movement.
