New to Axolotls! Breed? Gender? Accessories?

Hello! I am completely new to axolotls! We went to a Reptile Expo the other day, JUST TO LOOK!!! Upon entry, they gave everyone raffle tickets. I ended up winning and came home with 2 beauties. I don't know much about them. I am looking for help or tips from anyone willing to help. I'm not sure what kind of breed they are. I know they said they're "specialty" breeds but I have no idea. They both glow in the dark though! I was told they're both females. I didn't know how to sex them. I would also love links to things I can or should add to their tank. Thank you in advance!!

GFP wild type, and GFP copper lucy. both are only around 5 months old and to young to sex. they could show that they are male by dropping their balls from anywhere between 7 months of age and 18 months of age. you cant confirm that they are both female until they are 18 months old.

Thank you!!! I was wondering how old they were, but the breeder didn't know what to tell us. Apparently, he didn't know much at all, because he also seemed so sure that they were females. Haha are they okay in the tank together then?

Also, are these really as rare as he made them out to be? Or was he just trying to make sales off of people?

they should be fine in the tank together for now but as soon as one shows their gender be sure to sperate them until the other does the same. GFP axolotls are def rarer than regular axolotls but they are still pretty common to come by. they are only worth around $20 more then regulars. would you be able to send through the name of the breeder you got them from? they don't seem like they know what they are properly doing and i want to guide them on proper breeding.

Honestly, I don't know what their name was. They didn't have anything that gave a name at all. The Axolotls are gorgeous and we love them, I just wasn't given much information about them at all. That's why I immediately came here and started finding out what I can.
