Hey all ,
Recently posted that I was upgrading tanks, picked it up about a week ago and I'm in the process of setting up my new tank  just thought I would share some pics.
I havent spent time arranging anything (plants/driftwood etc), only placed in temporary positions to seed the tank, still have to get my hood light, some more hides and anything else I can find to make it look nice. Dont worry the big ugly outlet hose will be cut to size, I just gave ALOT of slack to make sure I didnt run out of tube.
I pumped all of the other tanks water into the new one and then topped up with fresh water, transferred the driftwood/plants and the filter. Also gave it fresh highly sifted/washed play sand.
The backing is Styrofoam molded and carved to look like rock, painted/sealed and stuck to the back and side glass with sealant. It has a "box" for the inlet and outlet to hide all the tubing, the outlet pokes though the wall. There is a small gap at the bottom of the foam to let water flow to the inlet but not big enough for fish to get sucked through. I have wedged Java moss into the cracks of the wall so it will have some nice moss growing...eventually :dizzy: Still have to tidy up the light cords etc.
Cant wait to see them explore the new tank, hope it doesn't stress them out to much with the transition.
