New tank setup - criticism welcome!

Ahoy there. Decided my axie tank was looking a bit plain, especially for a highly active axie like my guy so I decided to remake it. Any advice is welcome.

Hi Thirdeye,

There are no criticisms at all, just compliments. Beautiful tank. I love how you diffuse the water currents with that 'Zen spa' looking modification.

The before and after pictures are like makeover pics from magazines. ;)

That mass amount of sand might build up some nasty gas pockets.
I agree, the sand is too deep. It will be very hard to clean well. You could raise the water level somewhat, but if you did, you'd need to have a cover over the tank to prevent jumping disasters. Even at the current water level, a partial cover wouldn't hurt.
 
Id say cut out an inch or two of sand in the heavier areas and do the same kinda slope deal.
