Unless you're growing live plants, I'd nix the light. Axolotls are nocturnal and don't appreciate bright lights. If you do have live plants, try to use the light as little as possible, and provide some more hides for your little dude. Stacked slate, other logs, etc. will all work well. Otherwise, it looks like a nice tank!

yea lights almost always off but when it is on it does look super bright cause of the mirror behind tank. Getting more logs soon.
