Question: New Tank full set up

I am getting a full set up and 2 new axies this weekend. They are coming with their own tank.

I'm presuming it would be better to set up my spare tank first and get it ready and biologically sound before i bring them to avoid undue stress?

And use their tank as my spare?

As i type this Im realizing I probably just answered my own question lol

If the axolotls are coming with their own tank then I would assume that tank is already cycled. If it was me I would keep them in the tank that is cycled and use their poop to cycle the new tank for a few weeks. You can determine which tank you want to keep them in by testing the water and putting them in the one with better conditions. I would recommend using the API master test kit or another liquid test kit. (the strips are almost worthless) Let us know if you need anything else!
