I currently have a 60x30x30 tank for my two Axolotl's

I am having a tank made but I only have room for 100x50x50.I calculate at half full there will be about 120litres in the tank

I will set up the tank and cycle it with my axolotl in there current tank.

Can any body recommend the best filter for this tank price is not an issue

I have a 120L tank and use a Fluval205. I am absolutely thrilled with its performance. If you are having it custom made, why not just reduce the height?

for some reason I never thought of that will do. thank you very much I plan to completly cycle this tank before moving them in so I while to plan everything.

Only 60pound not bad, do you/ can you use a spray bar with this?

Fluval do have a spray bar available, one for the U models, like I use with my U3; and one for the other models as a sort of universal fit system.

I do not use a spray bar with mine, I just aim the outflow directly into the side of the tank, and since the tank is quite large, there is no flow in the tank. It's made for up to 40G (151L), so it's perfect for messy axies in a 120L tank.
