Finally after using for years plastic container for all of my animals i've decided to buy a nice acquarium . The tank is 80 x 35 x 45cm 125liters ( 32 x 14 x 18 inch 33gallons), water depth is around 35cm.
I'm undecided on what species put in my new tank , i was thinking I.a.apuanus(6 newts) but they are quite young and kept in shallow water at the moment (10cm water depth and many plants) ,
maybe is traumatic for them move from a shallow water container to a big acquarium with more than 30cm water depth.
The other possibility is Triturus Dobrogicus(4 newts), they come here in two weeks more or less and are already acquatic.
hope you guys can help me on make a decision.
Now some pics ( i want to add some more Elodea densa and other high plants such a Vallisneria Ceratophyllum ect)

I love it! I also think your Triturus dobrogicus would as well.;)

thanks ,
now the tank looks completely different , i've added some woods on the left and many Java fern Riccia fluitans and other java moss, for the background i've used Cabomba Caroliniana Vallisneria and more Elodea densa
this is the tank now ( There are 8 Neocaridina heteropoda at the moment because they help me with algae problems)
ps: i have to add some big piece of cork on top for make the land part

It looks beautiful! I love the combination of wood and plants. The way moss grows over wood in planted tanks I think looks just stunning. It's the kind of look I would love to have in my Alpine newts tank, but I just haven't got the patience, or the artistic flair!

Very nice indeed, good job!
Either species would love it, but personally i´d house I.alpestris in that tank, i don´t really know why, it´s just what i would do xDD
I have something to comment, though, about the top. It looks like it´s fully covered by screen, and that can be a problem. It would be very advisable to substitute it for a mess lid with excelent ventilation. It will get the water a couple of degress colder, and promote proper gas exchange.

Thank you for the nice comment.
Azhael you are right about the lid , i've already modified the whole thing, ventilation should be ok . Triturus Dobrogicus pair are in this tank now , i saw my male tail fanning the young female already, i think both newts love their new home.

That is quite an amazing tank. great "aquascaping". I float a piece of corkbark in my aquarium and once the tannin dissipate it is quite lovely. You can also grow moss and other plants, such as Pothos, on the cork bark because it absorbs water and keeps the top of the wood moist enough to grow plants. The roots of my pothos grew through the wood and started reaching the floor of the aquarium.

Also could you describe your filtration on the right side of the aquarium. I am curious as to what it is and how the water is returned. What kid of lighting do you use as well. Congrats on having an environment that will produce the happiest little critter!

Well, here there is not much to say! The first attempt was not bad, but the second is more than good! Given only the filter, do not forget that the dobrogicus come from ponds with stagnant water!

Not really much mate. These aren´t from stagnant waters but still ones. stagnant would be certainly death. They are able, even to live in slow moving rivers. The filter should be just fine for them. The aquarium is very nice End. Really enjoyed to see last pic. mate. Good work. They really shall breed. I do keep those both species so i think i am going to build something similar to them.;)
chip.

thanks again everyone

@spiro666: the filter is quite simple, you can see the big black plastic container on the right, filtration media and water pump are there, i did a drawing because my english is quite terrible and is difficult to explain how this work for me , anyway hope this help

about the light : are just 2 15watt neon attached to the lid, as you can see the light is quite low , the plants are all low to medium light demanding (Microsorium - Cryptocoryne - Hygrophila - Vallisneria - Hydrocotyle ect), i cant use many beautiful plants but i think is possible to create some very nice "acquascaping" with low demanding plants as well.
