New Sand and a full clean

Well iv spent the last few hours doing a full waterchange and adding my new Lime green sand into the tank, I also removed the blue paint on the background of the tank as it was scratched and looked pretty shabby thought the tank.

I did have plants in but have only just got a Lamp fitted the other week so they were pretty dead if im honest.

Anyway i know not everyone is going to like it but all comments welcome!

That's some very bright sand! Wont be hard to find your axie in there
Could add a laminate background to hide all the cords. Looks much better without the blue paint though in my opinion.

Thanks, It is very bright on the pics but its not as bright in person, Easy to spot them thought yes as i couldnt see the wild very well at all before.

I have thought about getting some dark laminate to cover them as my girlfriend (melfly) has it on her large tank and looks very good, Gives reflection aswell which makes it easier to see behind things like the wood at a quick glance

Lovin' the yellow sand! I've been looking all over for brightly colored sand and can't seem to find it (which is surprising since I live on a tourist beach in Florida).
