Today i made up a quarantine tank for an axolotl that i am getting most probably tomorrow. I have also rearranged my main tank and added a new hidey place which is the PVC. Here are some pics of both tanks. I will keep you posted and show off my new axie when i get him, it will be a him because i want to breed them.

Nice tanks  and lots of hiding places. My tanks are bare bottom too -- much easier to keep clean. Good idea to quarantine your new arrival first. How big is your main tank -- is it large enough to accomodate two possibly 12 inch long axolotls? Happy breeding

Thanks. I actually didn't quarantine it because my dad said there is no point because we got the axolotls off an axolotl breeder that we know and his tanks were good. My main tank is 80x40cm. Big enough for two.
Mitch.
