Hi guys. I have a website up and thought you guys might want to check it out. It doesn't have much information that most of you don't already know, but check it out anyway. It's for a school project (for a class on developing web content (not design).

I wanted to make it much more inclusive, but didn't really have the time. I had to meet alot of requirements for my professor, so that took more time than actually writing the site. I hope to add more to it after I perfect what I already have for my grade by the end of the month.

It's basically for newbies who want to build a habitat. (And I know, Caudata.org already has like all the information you could ever want, but I had to pick a subject to make a site about, and what could be better than newts?!)

Another thing is that it isn't at all finished, this is just the "Beta version" (i.e. I threw up whatever I had done). So check back and there will be more.

Anyway, the link is: http://webpages.shepherd.edu/afeuch01/home.htm

Also, check out my new user pic! That's Ridley peeking out from atop his/her corkbark.

Well... There was supposed to be a new user pic. I'll try again.

Alright. I can't get it to work, any ideas you guys? First I uploaded a new picture. When I went back to my profile after realizing it didn't work, the new picture was shown there, but it isn't being reflected beside my posts. (That's my old picture).

So, I "deleted any picture associated with my profile" or whatever it says, and reloaded the new photo. Still, the old one shows up.

**grumble**

I see the new photo. Your browser is "remembering" the old one. Try "clear cache" on your browser, and then you will see the new one.

Your site looks nice. I hope your teacher likes it

And thanks Jennifer. I've just updated it lots, and will do so again before May 10th (our launch party...I'm not really supposed to give the link out until them). So check back.

Thanks again.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
