Welcome!

If you could say how long they are, we might be able to give you a rough estimate. But unless you know the hatch-date, then telling age is usually pretty impossible.

You could always cut them in half and count the rings.

great axies but i would probably think about changin your gravel to sand cause they could swallow it and get it stuck inside them making them really really sick, but its a cool colour though

We know it from the gravel.

But this was before a normal fishes aquarium and two weeks ago we decide to go for Axies. So we're leaving them a little bit in peace for the moment(not stressing them too much in short time) and soon we will change a little bit the tank set up.
For the moment there're no problem with the gravel, we are feeding them with the tweezers and when they eat from the ground they are spitting out the gravel.

Hey Sabrina! They are so cute. They only look young from the pics youve posted, but as Joan said, with length, its easier to estimate.

Also.. unless your axies are monitored 24/7 even though you feed with tweezers (as most mums and dads of axies do) they can still swallow gravel - not having a go, just letting you know that the sooner you change it the better. Besides that though.. your setup looks very homely! :D

So I mesured them this morning:

Dr. Jeckylls is 12cm

Mr(s) Hyde is 7cm

Thanks for the advices

It's amasing how all axolotls have different faces.
You wouldn't think it at first but they all have really different facial features etc.
