Hey guys,
Just picked up my new 4ft tank! So excited, but have to wait until after I move to fill it. Which in a way is good because it will give me time to plan for the design and buy a few more axie's!

Any idea's from someone with a larger tank?

Here's some pic's of my tank and my axie's!

In one of parts of an tank it is possible to make island with a spring (fountain). Water will flow down on a surface of island in an tank and to be enriched with oxygen.

nice tank mine is only half the size of that!!! and cute axis

Thanks Lana! I'm on the look out for a wild type and another colour I have seen once it was like a violet grey to add to my little family.

But I think they are getting ready to have babies so might not be able to buy anymore at all!
I picked up the tank off ebay ( brand new ) for $50... So it really pays to keep your eyes peeled!

WOW Great bargain!, gorgeous axies, and i love your gravel!!! I think you could do an island! if you know how to figure it out that is. Um, yeh put nice ornaments (rocks or branches) and plant taller plant at the back and i think a good background and it will look stunning!

With a tank that size you could give it a theme such as a prehistoric swamp theme or ruins or a lot of other stuff. Im planning on getting my axie a larger tank for his birthday on january the 5.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
