Hi everyone, just thought i'd post a piccy of my new golden albino girl. Meet Nala. sorry this photo's not that flash,i had to download it from an e-mail.
Thanks Guys, yes i did get it from the lion king, lol. I love that movie 2! and the colour was what made me call her that! i was going to call her simba because she stands on her little cave pot thingy in the same pose simba pulls at the end of the movie on pride rock,(she's such a goof)but she's a she, lol!she was much lighter when i got her, she seems to have changed to a darker gold, oh well she's still a cutie, lol.
Hey guys, thanks for you lovely comments. Im not sure how old she is...maybe 12months? i dunno just a guess. She was very timid when i first got her, and was afraid of WORMS!! i'd put them in there and they would wriggle around and bump into her nose and she'd freak and back away as fast as she could...then she'd just follow it around watching it, then hunger got the better of her,lol
Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
