Hey im going to get a Aqua one 103f maxiinternal filter anyone had any experince with these before she puts out 1200l an hour but thats flat out it can be turned down
 
Just keep in mind that axolotls do not like current at all. If you have an internal filter, you'll have to baffle the output in some way.
 
I was thinking of runnin the output up to a spraybar
 
That would be a great choice. Make sure you take pics of your tank for all of us!!
 
But you still need a small amount of surface water turn over for gas release I dont think they would mind if i pointed the spray bar on to the top of the water in a fairly deep tank(40cm) just as long as i didnt have it gushing
 
It depends on how much current it makes. If their gills move in the current or their gills start to curl forward - there is too much current. You will have to try it and see.
